Dr. Cristina Chumbler

Veterinarian

Dr. Chumbler is in her element in an exam room working with her patients and their owners. Veterinary medicine is her passion, and she finds great joy improving the quality of life of her patients while helping clients feel comfortable with the care that she and her team provide.

Dr. Chumbler is from the Savannah, Georgia area and graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Since graduation, she has practiced extensively as a small animal general practitioner and also had the opportunity to serve as an adjunct faculty member at Lincoln Memorial University as a Clinical Course Mentor for veterinary students.

Dr. Chumbler, her husband, and two children moved to the area in 2016. She fell in love with Tryon and the surrounding communities and decided to fulfill her dream of opening a small animal veterinary hospital to serve the people in the area. Dr. Chumbler believes the opportunity to provide exceptional care starts with professionalism, focusing on internal hospital culture, maintaining a sense of gratitude, and having compassion for all.

When Dr. Chumbler is not taking care of her patients, you may find her at a little league ball game or at the local farmer’s market. She enjoys spending time with her family and 2 dogs, playing her clarinet, gardening, and exploring the foothills of the Carolinas.
